Proton Saga Price Increased With a Twist

As you all know, the Season 2 of Car Price Hikes 2022 is now streaming in Pakistan. The fourth episode is out featuring Proton. Unlike other stars of the show (other car companies), Proton has put its own twist on the price hike thing. The company has announced two price jumps for its sedan,  Proton Saga, but with different timelines.

New Prices of Proton Saga

Proton has increased the prices of base and mid Saga variants by Rs. 200,000. However, the price will go up by 50% i.e., Rs. 100,000 for bookings till the 10th of May. After that, the price will go up by 100% i.e., Rs. 200,000.

The price of top Proton Saga variant has increased by Rs. 220,000.  On the same lines as the other two variants, the top variant’s price will go up by 50% i.e., Rs. 110,000 for bookings till the 10th of May. After that, the price will go up by 100% i.e., Rs. 220,000.

• The new price of Proton Saga Standard Manual variant is Rs. 2,249,000. After the 10th of May, the price will become Rs. 2,349,000.
• The new price of Proton Saga Standard Automatic variant is Rs. 2,399,000. After the 10th of May, the mid variant’s price will become Rs. 2,499,000.
• The new price of Proton Saga ACE Automatic variant is Rs. 2,509,000. After the 10th of May, the top variant’s price will become Rs. 2,519,000.

With that, we can cross four companies off the list of car price hike, Kia, Changan, Prince DFSK, and Proton. Now let’s wait for the others (Toyota, Suzuki, MG, Haval, BAIC, and Hyundai) to take their turns and be a part of the show.
