Punjab is expanding its “One App” system to consolidate multiple vehicle-related payments into a single digital platform, including traffic challans, excise token tax, Environmental Protection Agency challans, and fines from other authorities.
According to reports, the system is expected to roll out in phases from next week.
DIG Traffic Waqas Nazir said the app integrates data from nine government departments and will allow officials to check vehicle details by entering a number plate or uploading a vehicle image.
Payments will be routed to the relevant department through PSID, the payment slip ID already used for digital government payments.

What Is Changing?
Until now, drivers often had to deal with separate systems for traffic fines, token tax, excise payments, and other government challans.
The new system aims to combine these checks and payments into one platform. Through the app, traffic police and relevant authorities will be able to:
- Check vehicle information through number plate entry or image upload
- Verify pending challans and dues
- Generate PSID-based payments
- Route payments directly to the relevant department
- Link records from multiple departments in one enforcement system
Punjab had already launched the One App digital traffic challan system earlier this year as an evidence-based traffic enforcement mechanism.
The latest move expands that platform beyond traffic fines and into wider vehicle-related dues.
