Pakistani motorcycle brand Sothassi has unveiled three large-capacity models in Islamabad, including the Classic 400, Crossfire 500, and Cromwell 1200.
The motorcycles were displayed at Coffeemistry Islamabad as the company outlined plans to introduce premium bikes in Pakistan through CKD assembly. Sothassi targets riders seeking larger, more powerful motorcycles than the commuter bikes that dominate the local market.
A Pakistani Brand With Global Ambitions
Sothassi says it was founded to bring international motorcycle technology to Pakistan and eventually build high-quality motorcycles locally.
The brand takes its name from a large spider-like arachnid found in Chitral, which also appears at the center of its emblem.
Sothassi Classic 400
The Classic 400 is the entry-level model in the range. It combines retro roadster styling with a 397cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing a claimed 29 bhp.
The motorcycle features a carburetor, front and rear disc brakes, and a traditional upright riding position. Its price and booking details have not yet been announced.
Sothassi Crossfire 500
The Crossfire 500 has been developed in collaboration with Austrian motorcycle manufacturer Brixton. It is a modern middleweight roadster powered by a 486 cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine producing 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque.
The bike also comes with electronic fuel injection, Bosch ABS, traction control, and electric start, placing it above the Classic 400 in both performance and equipment.
Sothassi Cromwell 1200
The Cromwell 1200 is also the result of Sothassi’s collaboration with Brixton and sits at the top of the company’s lineup.
Its 1,222 cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine produces 83 hp and 108 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The bike combines classic roadster styling with Bosch ABS, traction control, and strong low-end performance.
It is positioned as Sothassi’s flagship model for riders seeking a large-capacity motorcycle with a more refined and relaxed riding character.
CKD Assembly Planned
According to social media posts shared from the unveiling event, Sothassi is likely to introduce the motorcycles in CKD form in Pakistan. Local assembly could help the company manage costs while improving parts availability and after-sales support.
However, success in the premium motorcycle segment will depend on pricing, dealership coverage, spare-parts availability, service quality, and resale confidence.
Prices and booking details for all three motorcycles have not yet been announced.
