Special Discount for Proton X70 Customers Announced
Al-Haj Automotive has announced a special discount for specific consumers of Proton X70. In a statement, the company has shared the good news, stating: “The management is pleased to announce a one-time waiver of extra Rs. 200,000 cost on purchase of Proton X70.”
The offer is for those specific customers who were issued balance of payment letters between August 4 to September 30, 2022. “The PKR is appreciating against the US dollar, hence, the company has decided to pass on this benefit to the customers,” the statement read.
It further said that the customers who missed the deadlines mentioned in their balance payment letters can now avail and get their Proton X70 without paying the additional Rs. 200,000 by October 21, 2022.
So, if you have booked this crossover SUV and your balance of payment is between above-mentioned dates, its really a good news for you. Al-Haj is the first company passing on the benefit of latest depreciation of US dollar against the rupee. Hopefully, other companies will follow the suit and decrease the prices in the coming days.
The dollar has come down to Rs. 218 from Rs. 240 in the open market. The development came after new Finance Minister Ishaq Dar held the office. The new minister announced that he would bring back the dollar under Rs. 200 soon. And if he does that, it would be a relief for the companies and masses, though it could be temporary.
Proton Decreased Car Prices
In August, Proton Pakistan decreased its car prices due to reduction in the dollar rate. The company’s price reduction notification revealed that the customers with old bookings got an extra benefit.
Proton X70 New Prices
- The price of X70 FWD Premium had decreased by Rs. 110,000 and now costs Rs. 7,190,000 against Rs. 7,300,000. Whereas customers with old bookings to pay Rs. 6,990,000 against Rs. 7,100,000.
- After a reduction of Rs. 110,000, X70 AWD Executive started to be priced at Rs. 6,740,000 against Rs. 6,850,000. Whilst, customers with old bookings, to pay Rs. 6,540,000 instead of Rs. 6,650,000.
Proton Saga Prices
The company didn’t decrease the price of Proton Saga for the new bookings, whereas those who had old bookings could enjoy the relief of Rs. 100,000. These were new prices of Saga Variants that came under old bookings.
- Proton Saga Ace price was reduced by Rs. 100,000 and now costs Rs. 3,049,000 compared to Rs. 3,149,000.
- Proton Saga AT Standard ‘s current price is Rs. 2,899,000 instead of Rs. 2,999,000. Means, car price was dropped by Rs. 100,000.
- Saga MT new price is Rs. 2,724,000 against Rs. 2,824,000. Meaning, price was reduced by Rs. 100,000.
