Suzuki Alto to Get New Safety Features Soon – Sources

It had barely been twenty-four hours since we talked about the best seller Alto needed a fresh makeover or a new look in terms of design aesthetics and safety features, and the news already come out. It wasn’t quite what we had anticipated, yet progress, however slight, was made.

A day back, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) increased the prices of all the variants of Alto, stating, ‘This revision comes as part of Suzuki’s commitment to enhancing the quality and safety of its vehicles while adapting to market conditions.” Meaning, the Suzuki plans to add some new features to this small hatchback.

However, the local car maker didn’t mention what features it will offer at a maximum additional price of Rs. 120,000. Either way, we looked into the matter, and our credible sources have informed us that the company is all set to add new features like ABS Brakes and power windows in Alto VXR, whilst other add-ons include seatbelts, ISOfix child seat anchors, seatbelt alarms, etc.

Shifting Consumer Demands

Today’s buyers prioritize advanced safety measures, contemporary styling, and modern infotainment systems, even in budget-friendly vehicles. The current Alto model, with its dated design and limited safety features, has faced criticism for not aligning with these evolving preferences.

The planned safety upgrades are a positive step towards addressing these concerns, aiming to enhance the vehicle’s appeal among a broader audience.
