Pak Suzuki officially recently pulled the wraps off the Suzuki Fronx on May 6, 2026, and Suzuki fans are buzzing. 

While the crossover’s bold looks are a hit, the important question is: what is the running cost, and is it worth the money?

The Fronx launched in four variants: GL MT (Rs. 5,999,999), GL AT (Rs. 6,099,999), GLX 6AT Mono-Tone (Rs. 6,299,999), and GLX 6AT Two-Tone (Rs. 6,374,999).

However, with petrol prices currently at PKR 414.78 per liter as of May 8th, 2026, your choice of variant is more about surviving the daily commute than about features. 

Here’s a breakdown of the running costs of the Fronx based on the latest 2026 market data and the newly proposed Auto Industry Development and Export Policy (AIDEP) 2026-2031.

The government is signaling a phase-out of pure internal combustion engines. This means the GLX Hybrid will likely enjoy a stronger resale value than its petrol-only counterparts.

Localization

Suzuki’s massive local vendor network means that, as the policy pushes for 80-90% localization by 2031, the Fronx will be cheaper to repair than its rivals, such as the Kia Stonic or Peugeot 2008.
