Suzuki to Unveil All-New Alto In India Next Month
Where Pakistan’s auto industry is witnessing a tough time led by prevailing economic uncertainty, the Indian industry is just flourishing.
Maruti Suzuki will launch all-New Alto in the second half of next month. As per Indian media reports, third generation of the best-selling car “Alto” will come with an all-new powertrain and platform.
Engine
New Alto is expected to get 2 engine options including:
- Naturally aspirated K10C 1000cc 3-cylinder petrol engine carries the capacity to produce 66 horsepower and 89 Newton-meters of torque.
- Naturally aspirated 800cc petrol engine producing 57 hp and 69 Nm of torque.
It is pertinent to mention that both engines are mated with a 5-speed manual or an automatic (AGS or CVT) gearbox.
Design And Styling
Leaked Images of the car have revealed that new Alto’s is coming with new looks and design language – borrowed style from the latest Celerio.
The car is taller than the current variant while its doors are rather big. Moreover, all the variants may come with the same wheel size of 13 inches
Features
Coming to the features, the car may get some features including:
- Smartplay infotainment system
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility
- Power windows
- LED DRLs
- Wheel caps
- Dual airbags
- ABS with EBD
- Reverse parking sensors
It should be noted that the upper variant may come with some extra features including touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) and power window.
