The Project Director of Peshawar safe city project was of the view that the visit to PSCA has provided us with a deep insight into the project and will be helpful in the implementation of the new system in the provincial capital of KPK.

It is to be noted here that Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has covered all their bases regarding the safety and security of Lahore with its advanced cameras working on almost every junction of the city. Moreover, the electronic challan system has resulted in bringing awareness among the citizens to follow traffic rules regardless of the fact that any warden is watching them violate the law. There has been a significant decrease in the violations of traffic laws on the roads of the provincial capital owing to this camera-based challan system. The authority is aiming to improve the system even further to ensure the safety and security of the residents of Lahore with no room of error.
After a huge operational success of PSCA, other cities of the country are also aimed to be made safer with this particular safe city project. The team for the Peshawar Safe City project has already been formulated which will start working with the assistance of PSCA.
