Take A Glimpse Of Gems in Suneel Munj’s Car Collection – Garage Tour
Today we’re back with the garage tour of none other than Suneel Munj. In this video, we will take a glimpse of some of the cars Suneel owns, where he briefs us about their specs and talks us through his ownership journey with them. This collection features cars from different eras, origins, and categories with one thing common between them: the care they’ve all been kept with. So let’s jump right in and look at his beautiful machines.
Mazda RX7
Starting with probably the most famous possession of Suneel Munj, the red Mazda RX7. This car is a 1996 model and still on its stock 1300cc twin-turbo rotary engine. RX7 is one of the most desirable JDMs in the world, which are very limited in Pakistan, especially with its stock engine like this one. As per the owner, he has had this car since 2013, and in these ten years, it has been driven only 3000 kilometers.
W107 Mercedes 280SL
Now coming to a German classic; a 1973 W107 Mercedes 280SL. This is one of the recent acquisitions and will soon be restored to its former glory. It is a soft top convertible, but the owner also has its hard top, which can be fitted. As per the owner, this is one of the rarest models in Pakistan, and he’s working on it to bring it back to how it came out of the factory 50 years ago.
W220 S Class
This one is yet another recent acquisition of Suneel Munj, which will soon be restored, A w220 S300. As per the owner, he bought the car a few days ago for the price of a new Suzuki Cultus. Currently, it needs a bit of mechanical and cosmetic work as the seats are worn out, and the interior trims are faded. The owner has imported a list of parts for it, including brake rotors, suspension parts, interior trims, etc., and soon it will return to its charm.
W215 CL500
As per the owner, this car is one of four in Pakistan. The w215 CL was Mercedes’s premier coupe, providing ultimate performance through its 5000cc V8 engine and top-notch luxury. As per the owner, this variant is very rare in Pakistan, and the condition it is in is surely remarkable. This CL500 is from the same era as the w220 S class he recently bought.
W221 S Class Duo
Continuing the Mercedes Spree, Suneel has recently added a couple of w221s to his fleet. The first one is an S350 which he bought from Abdul Razzak, and surprisingly, it only has 35000 kilometers on the odometer. The second one is rather special; a w221 S500 with a 5.5 liter V8 engine compared to the 3.5 liter V6 engine in the S350. This car has been upgraded with some cosmetic changes where the owner wrapped the bonnet, roof, and trunk in satin gold, contrasting beautifully with the black. Additionally, turbine-style wheels have been installed, giving the car a very mean look.
Mercedes C140 V12 And W140
Coming to the modern classics, the C140 and the W140. As per the owner, this C140 is one of one in Pakistan with a V12 engine which a ruling family formerly owned. By its side is the infamous W140 S class, eminently known as the “Tank.” Both these cars are sisters, with the C140 being the 2 door coupe version of the W140. This was the generation where Mercedes introduced double-glazed glass windows for added safety, and to date, the luxury these cars provide is unmatchable. As per the owner, he puts fuel worth 5000 rupees every two weeks just to start these cars every day, indicating the gas guzzlers they are.
BMW Z3
Yet another German beauty, but this time it is a BMW, a 2001 Z3 which, according to the owner, is by far the lowest mileage Z3 in Pakistan. This comes with a 2.3-liter engine, and the drive is delightful. As per the owner, he was a student when this car came out and fell in love with it when it was featured in the James Bond movie.
So these were some of the old beauties in Suneel Munj’s collection, which showcased his automotive enthusiasm. This video mainly featured the German beauties; however, this garage has a lot of interesting cars left to explore.
