Toyota Indus Announces its New CEO
Ali Asghar Jamali, Chief Operating Officer at Indus Motor Company has been promoted as the company’s new CEO. He will be taking charge of the office from Pervaiz Ghais with effect from January 1, 2017.
Anam Fatima Khan, company secretary IMC, has intimated Pakistan Stock Exchange that the Board of Directors met on Thursday and Parvez Ghais indicated his desire to step down from the post of Company’s CEO with effect from January 1, 2017, as part of the intended succession plan of the company: reported by Business Recorder.
Accordingly, the Board on Thursday passed resolution accepting the resignation of Pervaiz Ghais as the CEO of IMC from January 1, 2017. And the appointment of Ali Asghar, has continued to work in different areas of the company. He also played a tremendous role to keep IMC flagship brand Corolla in high demand in Pakistan through introduction of various designs and technology.
