Toyota Tacoma 2016 Owner’s Review: Price, Specs & Features
The pickup truck Tacoma of the US version is the latest model available in Pakistan. This model has gone through some modifications and has been made into a rally car.
Toyota Tacoma 2016 is available in 3500cc engine capacity. The driving of the vehicle is very smooth. Similarly, the car’s suspension is soft, and it doesn’t feel like you’re driving a pickup truck. Moreover, the steering is placed in a good position. The towing power of the vehicle is 6,800 pounds. The curb weight is 4030 lbs. There are crawl and cruise control options in the vehicle.

A tilt-wheel adjustable steering column, exterior light control, the tailgate rear cargo door, deep-tinted windows, the sliding rear windows, Halogen headlights, daytime running lights, chrome running boards, fender flares, dual power remote mirrors, a roof rack, a pickup box and cargo, an integrated roof antenna, overhead console are available. The body of the car is manufactured using fully galvanized steel and painted over with a clear coat monotone.

Interior:
A maximum of 5 people can be seated inside the vehicle. The interior of the car is modern and has leather seats. The high-strength steel is used for chassis and the car’s body, which enhances rigidity while lowering the car’s weight. The cabins are kind of soundproof by providing a laminated windscreen, which improves sound insulation.
Toyota Tacoma is the first vehicle to have a built-in SUV camera. Bed cover, cloth seats, a USB port, a 6-speaker audio system, a cloth upholstery, steering controls, lots of cup-holders, smooth gear-shifting, under-seat ducts, in-radio display clock, overhead and floor console, floor mats, a tachometer, a trip computer, water temperature gauge, the driver’s seat is heated, auto-dim mirrors, proximity key with push-button start etc.

Some of the Cons of the vehicle:
- There is no digital climate control.
- The software for navigation is unavailable in Pakistan, so it cannot be used.
- The brake pedal is very sensitive.
- Poor fuel economy.
- Crash avoidance technologies such as automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning are not available in the safety features of the car.
- There is another negative aspect of the car which can’t be called a con but a drawback instead is that a power cutoff occurs whenever the car is at 3000 or 4000 rpm to regulate the fuel economy.
Safety Measures:
In addition to the overhead and side airbags, knee airbags are also provided in Tacoma for the driver and front passengers. There are ten airbags in total. An optional safety standard of blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert is given as an extra. A low tire pressure warning is provided.
Price:
Toyota Tacoma costs 7 million rupees. The parts of the car are not readily available in Pakistan. However, the car has a good ride quality, along with a wide range of trims and features. It is a true road warrior and is worth its price.
