Toyota Yaris Cross gets new styling in Europe

The biggest change is at the front. Toyota Motor Europe has given the Yaris Cross a new grille design, updated LED headlamps, and a cleaner overall face to make the compact SUV look sharper and more in line with the brand’s newer European models. New wheel designs and fresh paint options, including Precious Bronze and Celestite Grey, are also part of the update.

Inside, the changes are lighter but still noticeable. Toyota says the updated model gets revised seat designs on some trims, new cabin detailing, upgraded materials on higher grades, ambient lighting, and a wireless phone charger from Mid+ grade and above.

GR SPORT adds a sportier edge

Toyota is also expanding the Yaris Cross line-up with a more aggressive GR SPORT version. This trim gets exclusive front styling, unique 18-inch alloy wheels, sportier cabin touches, and suspension tuning aimed at sharper handling. According to Toyota, the GR SPORT will be offered with the Hybrid 130 setup and front-wheel drive.

What stays the same

This is a refresh, not a full redesign. Coverage across the auto press points to the same core formula staying in place: a hybrid-focused line-up, compact dimensions, and front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive options depending on variant and market. Toyota is keeping the Yaris Cross familiar, but giving it a cleaner look and a little more showroom appeal.

No Pakistan confirmation yet

For Pakistani readers, that is the key bit. This announcement is focused on Europe, where Toyota says the Yaris Cross was its best-selling model in 2025 and is built locally for that market. There is still no official confirmation of a Pakistan launch, so for now this remains a Europe-spec update rather than a local market development.

What’s new at a glance

  • Revised front grille and headlamp design
  • New paint options, including Precious Bronze and Celestite Grey
  • Updated cabin trim and materials
  • GR SPORT variant with exclusive styling and chassis tweaks
  • Europe remains the focus, with no Pakistan launch confirmed yet

Closing takeaway

Toyota has not reinvented the Yaris Cross here. It has simply given one of its strongest-selling European models a sharper look, a better trim walk, and a more image-led GR SPORT version. Orders are due to open in Europe this month, while any move for Pakistan is still official-word-pending.
