United Bikes Price Increased Up to Rs. 18000
Last year, around this time, when we were writing the elegies of the past 12 months, especially all the mess that cast a pall over Pakistan’s auto industry, price hikes were among the most challenging. And unfortunately, the whammy still persists, thanks to the country’s prevailing economic turmoil and self-prolonged Kakar-led interim government lacking the way forward to steer the country out of worst economic crisis.
Let’s welcome the first price hike of the upcoming series. United Auto Industries took the charge and surged its bike prices up to Rs. 18000.
Here are the new United bike prices in Pakistan effective from Jan 9, 2024.
New Prices of United Bikes
- The old price of United US 70 (Standard) remained unchanged. Whereas the price of US 70 (alloy rim) has reached to Rs. 114,500, and after a jump of Rs. 5000.
- The company retained the price of US-100 (Special). However, the price of US-100 (Standard) has been increased by Rs. 10,000 taking the new price to Rs. 117,000 from the old rate of Rs. 107,000.
- Meanwhile, the new price of US-100 (Standard Special) is Rs. 118,000 against the old price of Rs. 108,000. Meaning, the price of bike is surged by Rs. 10,000.
- The new price of US-100 (Standard Alloy Rims) has reached Rs. 127,500 from the old rate of Rs. 109,500. The difference is a staggering Rs. 18,000.
- Coming to the United US Scooty 100, the price has not observed a jump in its price. Meaning, its price will remain unchanged so far.
- Similarly, last bike is United US 125, which has also not observed a price jump.
Not surprisingly, the company has not mentioned the reason behind the move – the unfortunate tradition witnessed for years.
The analysts believe the automotive industry would need at least two to three years to come out of this slump. This means we will keep seeing and facing these price hikes for the foreseeable future.
