Updated ‘Own Money’ Rates – October 2016
Last month, PakWheels discussed the concept of ‘Own Money’ and ‘Own Money Rates on different cars in Pakistan. After one month, there has been a noticeable decrease in ‘Own Money’ on different cars in Pakistan. A possible reason for this decline is that 2016 is about to end. Pakistani car buyers are quite concerned about the resale value of a car, and a common perception is that there would be a drop in the resale value of a car when its registration year is over. So, people prefer to wait 2-3 months to buy a newer model car with latest registration year. This trend leads to a decrease in the sale of new cars during the ending months each year.
