Atlas Honda to increase its production up to 1.5 million units per year

Pakistan’s largest bike manufacturing company Atlas Honda has announced that the company will be increasing its production capacity to 1.5 million units per year. The board of directors has approved the plan to increase the already installed capacity of the plant, and the project is estimated at $ 15 million.

The company sold over 1 lac bikes in January this year, and as the buying power of the people is rising, the company is aiming to grab more market share.

Aside from plan to increase the production capacity, Atlas Honda has also posted its profit for the year that ended on 31st March 2018.  According to the company it made a profit of PKR 4.66 billion up 24.27%. On the contrary, the company made a net profit of PKR 3.75 billion in the same period of the preceding year.

The overall sales of the company have also gone up by 20.05% from PKR 64.53 billion to PKR 77.47 billion. Moreover, the Earnings per share of the company has also increased, it now stands at PKR 45.10.

Furthermore, Pak Suzuki has also posted its profits for the quarter that ended on March 31st, 2018; it attained the profit PKR 904.14 million in the said period. Additionally, Hascol has posted their profits for the year 2017, and it looks quite promising. According to the notice, which the company sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange, it earned PKR 1.32 billion in profit, which has gone up by 10 percent compared to its preceding year.
