Suzuki Ciaz (also known as Suzuki Alivio), a compact car, was launched in 2014. The mid-sized sedan replaced Suzuki SX4 in Latin American and Asian auto markets. In India, the car is known as Maruti Ciaz and is quite popular. It is in direct competition in Indian auto market with Honda City, Nissan Sunny, Hyundai Verna, VW Vento, and Renault Scana. The car is in demand because of its salient features, spacious interior, comfortable cabin, powerful engine, and fuel-economy.

Exterior

Suzuki Ciaz has an attractive look that gives a wonderful first impression. The Swept-back headlamps, long bonnet with pleasing lines and angles, trapezoidal chrome grill, and overall a vibrant look give a lovely first impression. The car looks quite big from the side view. It has a big bumper and stylish tail lamp design. In India, this car is available different colors that include Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Pearl Sangria Red, Pearl Snow White, Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Glistening Grey, Metallic Clear Beige, and Pearl Midnight Black.

Simple lines and an uncluttered look, make the dashboard quite simple and straightforward. A large 7-inch easy-to-use touchscreen is placed on the center console. Engine

In India, Suzuki Ciaz comes with two engines – 1.3L MultiJet diesel and 1.4L K-Series petrol. 1.6L G INNOTEC petrol is available only in China.

The 1.4L K-series petrol engine can produce 91 HP at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The 1.4l engine might seem insufficient for a mid-size sedan, but Ciaz is quite lightweight. The 1.3L diesel engine can produce 89 HP at 4,000 rpm.

Suzuki Ciaz comes with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic (petrol only) transmission. In India, Maruti claimed impressive fuel economy of 26 km/l for diesel engine and 21 km/l for petrol engine.

The Ciaz is a quite comfortable family car that could be popular in Pakistan. It appears that Pak-Suzuki has plans to launch this car in Pakistan in the near future. Let’s wait for that day!

    Firstly,

Suzuki will never ever introduce this car with these features in Pakistan cuz that means straight 18-20 lacs and no one will pay that when they will have city/gli/used civic around that price tag.

Secondly, did i say a stripped down version. Air bags in suzuki is a big LOL in Pak. Worst will be same shit 1300 cc swift engine.

Khushi se mar na jatay agar aitbar hota ,, 🙂

It’s all about making money. They put an attractive title so people click in huge numbers. The content doesn’t have to do anything with reality.

They should introduce it with 1.3 l Diesel engine because it gives more millage plus tax benefit; 1298 cc vs 1395 cc!

You’re right but may be because Chinese replicas are coming soon, so I can feel the heat!

You said “The 1.4l engine might seem insufficient for a mid-size sedan”…but this car falls in compact segment (like City) and not Midsize which is the segment for cars like Camry, Accord etc.

a 1.4L with only 91hp? u kidding me bro… so we have to pay fee of 1.5L cuz its comes in that segment with its 1.4L engine. isint it better to buy faw v2 with 1.3L and 94 hp…

Come on, whats wrong with the M Series engine, they should put an turbocharged M18A engine in this car.
