- Start the donor car with a reliable battery and let it run for around two to five minutes.
- Now try to start another car with a dead battery. If it does not start immediately, wait a minute and try again.
- Once the car with the dead battery starts, let both vehicles run for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Remove or detach the jumper cables in a reverse manner.
- Now, drive your car for at least twenty minutes. This will enable the alternator to recharge the battery.
