When And Where KIA Will Flaunt Its New Luxury Cars
The Korean car giant’s franchise in the country – dubbed – KIA lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) has disclosed when and where it will display its new cars, Stinger and Niro EV.
A couple of days ago, KLMC shared a video on social media teasing KIA Niro EV and KIA Stinger, captioned, “Are you excited to witness the ultimate Kia experience coming to your city very soon.” And now, the company is all set to unveil these cars in Karachi.
As per the company’s social media post, here are the dates and locations.
January 5 – 9: Kia Motors Macca (Karachi)
January 10 – 13: Kia Motors Clifton (Karachi)
January 14 – 18: Kia Motors Society (Karachi)
January 19 – 23: Kia Motors Lucky One (Karachi)
Highlighting the Niro EV, the car can stand toe to toe with the best from Honda HR-V, Toyota RAV4, and other vehicles of the segment. Whereas, KIA’s second entrant, Stinger, offers the same style and higher-end luxury elements that we observe in luxury vehicles like Audi A5.
Are We Getting Niro EV & Stinger?
So, are we getting these two new cars from Kia Pakistan? The answer is a bit complicated. As per our sources, the company will show these two vehicles across Pakistan at its different dealerships, but they will only be for display for the time being. “The company wants to increase footfall on its dealerships, especially amid these tough times, so the tour of these cars will start soon,” the sources said, adding that the Kia is hoping that people will come to see them.
The company has imported the CBU units of Niro EV and Stinger, but there are no plans for their launch anytime soon. Per our experts, Niro, teased in this video, is a discontinued global model. Stinger will be discontinued globally, with production ending in April or summer of 2023, and there is no next generation. ” We may expect a CBU Stinger as Stinger didn’t sell well globally, and there might be RHD vehicles unsold in inventory, which Lucky can import at a discounted rate and sell locally. The same is the case with Niro, or a CKD Niro has more chance with incentives on electric cars from the government.
