When Will Suzuki Launch GSX 125?

Here’s the news we have all been waiting for! Suzuki has finally revealed when it is going to launch its all-new GSX 125!

As we had shared before, Suzuki had displayed its new bike Suzuki GSX 125, among others, at this year’s Pakistan Auto Show 2022. This bike is a replacement for Suzuki GS 150 SE and comes with some interesting specs. 

Suzuki GSX 125 Launch Date

At PAPS Autoshow 2022, the company had said they will launch the bike by the end of this year. Now, according to a report by Horsepower Pakistan, the bike will be launched by Suzuki by the end of September 2022. 

Price

At the Autoshow, the company had claimed that the price would be under Rs. 3 lacs. But now, according to Horsepower Pakistan, the company has declared the price of Rs. 330,000.

Specs and Features

GSX 125 has a stylish, modern style, sporty stance, aggressive street-bike styling, and alloy wheels with a sharp look.

The bike comes with a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine that generates a power of 10.45 hp at a torque of 9.2 Nm. With a curb weight of 126 kilograms and a mileage of 42 kilometers per liter, the bike is easy to handle and fun to ride. It also comes with a 5-speed constant-mesh transmission with a return shift pattern.

There is a dual-piston caliper disc brake at the front and a conventional drum brake at the rear of the bike. Suspension on the bike consists of dual inverted fork tubes and spring-loaded shock absorbers.

Replacement for Suzuki GS 150 SE

In July, Pak Suzuki had announced that it has discontinued its bike, Suzuki GS 150 SE (Special Edition). In a notification, the company said that the bike will be discontinued from July 16, 2022. “No further orders will be accepted,” the company said.

However, the company clarified that the GS 150 (standard version) will continue to be produced and sold. 

The unit displayed here was a CBU, so we are not expecting a locally assembled version in the market soon.
