Which New Cars Could be Displayed in PAPS 2022??
As we all know, the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2022 by Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) is all set to be held in Lahore Expo Centre from July 29 to 31, 2022, the main question is which new cars will be displayed there.
All major car companies, including Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Changan Master, Proton Pakistan, Sazgar Engineering, Kia Lucky, and Hyundai Nishat, will attend the event. Like every year, it is expected there will be exciting fresh products.
And to increase your excitement, we asked around, which new cars could be displayed at the event, and here is what we know so far. But remember that this is what sources told us, it is not confirmed or official.
Honda HR-V
Currently, the most-awaited car in Pakistan is Honda HR-V. The company has increased the excitement of the car lovers after a reported wrapped unit of this car was seen on local roads. We told you this is HR-V because the rear pillar, spoiler, and alloy wheel design matched the Honda HR-V. After that, the registration number revealed that it is indeed Honda HR-V, and the company paid Rs. 6,050,000 for it.
And due to these developments, we are sure that Honda HR-V will appear in the show. So, the wait is on, and the excitement is high.
MG Lineup
Then we have MG Pakistan, which has remained in the news since it entered the local market. As per our sources, the company will display quite a healthy lineup. And this collection of cars may include MG Marvel R (EV), MG GT (5), MG RX8, and locally assembled units of MG HS.
People have always been attracted to MG cars, and HS has proved to be a success for the company as people have bought it in large numbers. People are also waiting for MG3, the hatchback supposed to come under Rs. 2 million, but we don’t think it would be part of MG’s lineup, but never say never, and maybe MG has some surprises up its sleeve for us.
Haval H6 PHEV
As per reports, the company may display Haval H6 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) at the show. It is pertinent to mention that the company has sold CBU units of Haval H6 and Jolion in Pakistan, and the consumers have liked both cars.
Suzuki Cars
Reports have also revealed that the visitors will also witness three Suzuki cars adding some colors to the show. Companies including MG, Honda, Haval have disclosed what they would bring to the floor but Suzuki has committed not to settle the wave of surprise and uncertainty – there must be something worth hiding.
