Yamaha to Launch YBR-Z in Pakistan
Sources inside Yamaha have reported that company is all set to launch YBR-Z in April 2017. The bike in question is expected to feature a 125cc engine with the highly coveted flat seat and a much linear fuel tank. Simply put, the YBR-Z will be a family bike that will be launched to compete with the likes of Honda CG-125 both in price and features.
Yamaha made a comeback in Pakistan’s local market back in April 2015 and since then, the company has launched YBR and YBR-G. Both -currently- available variants of YBR are aggressively desigened models, aimed to cater a niche market of young buyers. With Yamaha YBR-Z, the company is moving towards adding mainstream products, suited to appeal and satisfy the needs of a wider group of customers. Sources have revealed that this motorbike will be equipped with the same engine as of YBR and YBR-G. The primary difference will be that YBR-Z will not have alloy rims, disk brakes and down force design. On the contrary this bike will feature a self-start button with a starter kick and it’s price is expected to be around 110,000 rupees.
