Wow, so many desi people own Accords.
And Corollas, and Civics, and Camrys. This is the free land, buy a Ford, or a Mazda, or something cool and fast, not beige and boring...

I can proudly say my family has never owned any Honda's or 'yotas. Just a Buick, a 68 Impala, 88 Subie Loyale Turbo Wagon, a 94 Econoline, and a 99 626. We're leaning towards a Ford Fusion or a Caddy SRX for our next car.

I used to think like you and bought chevys, Fords and Hummer etc etc but quality and ride quality sucks in American cars. Japanese cars are made to last

I can see your point of view, but also look at the other side of the spectrum....

In Pakistan I always wanted to have the 7th gen civic, I couldn't afford it there, but here in USA I have it,which is satisfying.

I know that notion is hard for some folks to understand, but it is what it is.....

And how many American cars have you/your family owned again? Pakistani's are scared about wasting money and investing in 'the unknown', the same way they are scared to send their kid off to an education other than medical or engineering.

Does this harsh weather affect engine performance? Do cars operate as they would under normal weather conditions? I mean like do you guys add any anti-freeze resistants? what about coolants in radiator, power steering fluid, break fluid etc. So one fine morning if i go out and my car is all covered in snow and temperature is significantly below 0 degree celisius, would my engine (petrol or diesel) start easily and behave normally?

we leave our cars stock and maintain there since (all cars come with suitable lubes for American weather conditions). This snow does not effect nothing but the driving
