Default Camry 2010 or Accord 2010?

If you were to decided between the two cars which one would u pick?
whats is the reason of preferring one over the other?

    Thanks all of u
I want to ask if its cheaper to buy a new accord/camry abroad and import it here or not? it cost somewhat like 22000$ equivalent to the price of 1.8 civic here!

It might cost a lil less than the rates offered by indus or honda but still not worth it IMO, better to buy some used merc or beamer here

It will still be around RS 5 million if not more than that, which isn't really an appropriate price for a camry or an accord IMO you are better off with some used merc in that range cause it'll have more features and a better image...

though i like both the camry and the "thai" accord (not the CL7 & 9 shape) i'd never suggest a new one to anyone as they are both pathetic in terms of value for money.

for what the official dealers are asking for new ones you could EASILY buy a topnotch used german import.

Camry, any kind of trouble anywhere you are can be fixed by average level of mechanic. this is why Camry or any toyota vehicle. if you are honda owner and any trouble occurs look for company,

someone above asking for crown, it's a matchless choice, even I prefer it over german sedans, I've 1980 and 1994 models. still can get original or third party parts of 80's model even not contacting toyota. this is the quality that keeps cars alive but not limited availability to company.

from the two, i'll go with accord.

howevr, if I'm given that much budget to buy a car, I'd have gone for Audi A4 (even basic model would be more satisfying)

Toyota Camry brand new is PKR 7.2 million ex factory price. The Accord is PKR 5.7 million. The surprising bit is that the Audi A4 costs something like 7.9 million brand new. I think i even saw somebody post their new Audi A4 pics on Pakwheels.com recently. So the question you really need to ask yourself is, are Toyota and Honda really worth it?

Personally i'm a Toyota fan, but IMO, go for the Accord if you really must. Cheaper and looks better than the Camry.

i admire people suggesting german cars, but aren't the service costs sky high? i remember bmw 7 series regular maintainance (oil change, filters change, alignment, spark plugs and labour cost) being close to 150,000 r.s....thats way more then what you would pay for camry or accord service....and if iam wrong please correct me, thanks!

A person whose want to decide to buy accord or camry, actually want luxury, otherwise he would be considering corolla or civic.

And if you want luxry nothing can beat Merc or BMW

For 5.8 million one can easily get a 2004-05 Merc S320 in mint condition.
    Or a 2003-04 BMW 740-730D

Not Camry nor Accord can beat above mentioned cars in Looks, Value, Luxury, Built Quality, prestige, Aftermarket value and virtually everything.

If you buy accord for 5.8 million, within a few weeks its value will depreciate atleast 5 to 6 lacs, same is the case wit camry.

While if you get a good deal in buying merc or bmw then its value could be increased over next yar by up to 5 to 6 lacs. (as it already done when 745li was available for 3.7 or 3.8 million now the same car trade at 4.5 to 6 million.)

Service costs for German cars are indeed sky high. By the way, just saw an ad in the newspaper for the brand new BMW X1 being sold at Rs 5 million! Now that's a bargain considering the prices in Pakistan.
