    hey levin need some clarification !///...umm perf... shop ??? not familiar with that word...

    and about its original - wow its a dream but everytime i discuss with my friend he says - get H22 for accord - an im like ahaan ! - im running a 1.6 stock! - just have exhaust no other mods! have beaten modded civic 95s with it - race on hi-octane though and have a very heavy foot
    runs really wow - but am scared of racing it on the races we have now days ! dont like to lose if u know wot i mean - also want to get rid of CNG and use the accord for weekends and races only !! ... kinda inspired by the blue H22 from isloo - beautiful body work job done - MASHALLAH - wow to whoever owns that ride !

    The B-series engines such as the B16A1, B16A2, B18B1, etc, are usually extracted from Honda Civic cars and Integra models from Japan. The more powerful H series are taken from Prelude models, and with certain modifications these engines can fit your Civic vehicle. The H22A motors are particularly famous in the swap world because of their high performance and unique setup flexibility.
    Some other options are K-20 and B-20

    @Mus1
    You can install a H22a using the later model mounts as no swap kit is available for the 86-89 accord. You can use the 94-97 accord mounts that is if you have no trouble finding any.

    You will need the tranny with it and will install without any problems.

    Stock ECU can be used if you decide not to boost it any further then it is.

    Suspesnion has to be upgraded as the H22a is a heavier engine then the current 1.6 you hace in there.

    the problem in uoor setup bro is tat h22 wil put a lot of stress on an all ready old car whos parts are stil expensive..the tourque of the engines would be harsh on the whole car not only the axels,,,,but having said tat id sugest kay wen u do the swap keep these things in uor mind,,i can gt u a h22 in 170k if u like..but its a auto converted to manual with manual engine ecu ...88 accord of uors is not efi rite? soo there would be a lot of more expansis involved like electronic fuel pump maybe new fuel tank,mounts etc..wiring and instalation would be another 5 -7k..so keep a budget of 2.25 in mind wen starting this project

    yes the shop keeper in sader, pindi told us 85 for h22....

    @racerf1
    what is seam welding.. welding all the joints by mig or tig... is it useful caz i think it should make the car stiff...
    and i have heard that in rally cars the engine is not mounted on rubber bushes (rubber bushing in mounts).. it increase the power delievered.. can this be done after the car is seam welded?
    its all about power to weight ratio...

    @Ghuncha
    Resistance Seam Welding is a resistance welding process that produces a weld at the faying surfaces of overlapped parts along a length of a joint. The weld may be made by overlapping weld nuggets, a continuous weld nugget or by forging the joint as it is heated to the welding temperature by resistance to the flow of welding current.

    Tig Tungsten-Inert-Gas used for welding metals such as aluminium and magnesium

    Mig: Gas Metal-Arc Welding (GMAW). A welding process in which fusion is produced by heating with an electric arc between a metal electrode and the work. Shielding is obtained from an inert gas such as helium or argon. Pressure and/or filler metal may or may not be used.

    All these are different types ow welds which are used for different metals and differen purposes. But the main common purpose is to provide a lighter and strogner weld

    As for rally cars they do use busing but of different materials like polyurethane and others which are stiffer and do stop the movement of the engine during acceleration and hence transfering that power to the wheels. But the car vibrates with the engine and is felt immensely in the cabin.
