Downloaded manuals from various sites but none was specifically for this trim. However, what I gathered from scrolling through these manuals was that there are 3 multiplex controllers, a controller for the srs, ECU which in this case is called PCM and is more than ECU, another Control Unit exclusively for the EPS. So I figured out the one related to power windows and central locking, searched the junk market for a replacement but could not find one. A few days back one of the electricians claimed that he has a replacement but price he asked was much more than what I expected. However when he replaced it for trial, I paid him what he had asked since each and every function got restored, all at once.
Now only the speedometer needs to be fixed. The meter itself is working but is not getting input from speed sensor, though the sensor is functioning properly. According to the electrician, ECU or PCM needs replacement as the speed signal from VSS is routed through PCM to speedometer but we still have to find out a replacement PCM. Although my mind does not accept his diagnosis, however it can only be confirmed once a replacement PCM is available to try.
I think this would be an easy fix, though heavy on my pocket. The vehicle is such a pleasure drive and everything in the electricals, body and interior is in such genuine condition that I have decided to spend the amount to restore it completely.
So guys if you can help to mind me the PCM for a reasonable price, I will be grateful.
