OP - Mashallah - congrats on the purchase - Allah mubarik karae.

I bought the 3.5l V6 8th gen Accord coupe (in San Marino Red) when I was in Oman in 2008, and it was a great car. Lovely on highways, and equally great on low speeds in the city. Fuel consumption is unlike any other 'normal' V6s due to the VCM feature as it de-activates cylinders as per engine load.

Drive safe, and enjoy your ride.
@sardarsaeed - I have driven, extensively, the 2.4 version (in 4 door and coupe form), and can seriously recommend the 3.5l one!! the 2.4l felt sluggish around town, as well as on highway over-taking pulls. This Accord is the biggest size ever (exterior and interior) for Honda, and the added weight from the design plus multiple airbags, EBD and other systems, really shows in the performance!

    JazakAllah!

The car is very good whether you talk about comfort, performance, handling, power, looks. It's a complete package. The 2.4 Version is also good but after having the V6 one, the base trim looks like incomplete. Even the 2.4L full options lacks "that something".

Well they have. This was a strip between 2 cameras where one person keeps an eye on the right side of the road for any white Xtrail, Innova or Xterra.

At this speed, we are talking about 900 Dhs fine + at least 6 black points and car impounded for 1 month.

Agreed. It is a nice car with very good fuel consumption. You can see in the video. The fuel tank is not completely filled and the range it is showing is 600 + Kms. that too at this speed. I know these systems are not accurate but even if we remove some as error margin, it still is a good mileage.
