Default Engine Oil for Old Cars

I have 92 accord with JDM 2000 Accord Engine. Engine is in good nick thanks to Allah. I was wondering what oil is best for it. Searching thread was helpful but they were for new cars xli/gli etc. I have questions

    1. Use Mineral Oil if yes which company
    2. Use Synthetic Oil and which grade
    3. Is it better to have shorter drainage periods or longer periods with synthetic oils.......
    4. Please suggest best Oil Company.... heard shell ultra is best according to @Xulfiqar https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/oil...-2#post4227287
Personally i am biased towards Synthetic Oil. Someone said in Pakistan there is alot of dusts so its better you drain your oil frequently. Dont know how legitimate is this.

if its a transmission that takes Toyota T-IV - it will turn a dark gray to almost black colour over time. When new T-IV ATF is bright red, If its still reddish pink then its in pretty good shape.

You can do a drain and fill of 4 litres with mobil 3309 ATF or Toyota T-IV. (only if your car actually takes it)

    Hello,
pls advise me which type of oil I should use for my Honda City 07.
I have been using ZIC A + 5W/20 and problem is oil level keeps on decreasing. Car has run for around 80K kms on mostly CNG & sometimes on petrol.
I want to use a bit viscous oil.
pls give suggestion as I want to use Havoline oil now.

    thanks

5w-30 ZIC A+ is best suitable for your car

0w oils are for sub zero weather places

I have civic 99-00 vti orial automatic. My car has stock engine and transmission still never opened or changed anything related to engine and transmission.

My car has done more then 240000 kms but still engine and transmission is strong and like new.

I am using Honda OEM fully synthetic 5-30w bought from 3s dealership every time with new filter each oil replacement. Similarly, I am using OEM Honda ATF for transmission bought from 3s dealership. Never had any problem with these OEM fluid.

Still my car engine and transmission is like new with these fluids. Never done any work related to engine and transmission. Each and every thing is stock and like new.

what are the currently available high zddp oils in pakistan right now?

i am using zic M, rated api sj for now...

cuore, 90s civic, mehran, santro, pretty much all the old cars highly common in pakistan use a flat tappet system... and no one has any knowledge of zddp oils...

every one wants to stuff the latest oil down your throat
the problem is not our govt... its the people..
