make double and triple sure this B20A slants forward - you will notice it immediately when on the floor, it needs a block of wood at the front mount to sit upright just like the original A16 does out of the car.
The CRV model B20A will not fit and neither will the 90 prelude one fit without major surgery.
I only saw 2 of these 3rd Gen Accord B20A in Karachi and I bought one of them complete with ECU. The shopowner was more than delighted to sell me that engine as no one wanted it. My extended family had a car with this engine originally, it was a later import and was named Vigor, I stuck accord badges on it - people used to think it was called Vigo lol.
This B20A can really pull hard - no vtec or anything fancy but solid honest true to the word power. But its really hard to get.
I have put an F20A into this accord and it was a major surgery with long hours of crafting etc. The car was a basket case so nothing to lose there.
The F20A is the original engine of the 1991 Accord Si in Japan, 150 hp and 150 lb/ft torque. It can move this car like its a toy.
Every engine mount bracket was hand made and every mount was hand made, the exhaust manifold header was hand made, the entire wiring was hand made to fit like original.
The hubs and spindles were replaced with bigger items (very very expensive) to make the proper axles fit. The shift selector was mounted and a hole cut to pass the shift cables through the car, the clutch also was converted to hydraulic and that was also quite interesting because there is no room to install - so I had a reverse type cylinder in the car.
