    the red box is the PCV valve breather line, Originally the PCV valve sits in a little hole cast into the manifold right next to this pipe and is connected by a very short U shaped pipe.

    the PCV valve is on top of a funnel shaped bent rubber pipe which is connected to a breather box besides the oil filter and this breather box is then connected via a large diamter pipe directly to the sump (oil chamber) with pipe clamps (jubilee clamps)
    Thanks for taking time out and helping me out. Will try to work on it.

    Are spare parts still available for this car? I might get a car by next year (IA); it will be either this or a Khyber. The choice will depend on whether its parts (especially engine) are still available fairly easily. If not, can it house a D series engine with alteration to the mounts?

    Yup spares are available. Both in new and used. You simply can't compare Accord with Khyber. I every aspect this Accord is million times better compared to a Khyber. Suzuki spares are cheap money and quality wise here. For example if a mechanical part on a Khyber would last 4 years. On this car it would last minimum 12 years. Mehnga lou ik bar sasta lou bar bar. Simple as that. And i don't support alteration.

    @Xulfiqar

    You may also suggest him. Thanks.

    Too late to reply but maybe u still find it useful part biggest problem with 2&3 gen acxord is oil filter for this car is no more available and mechanic slap civic oil filter on it which ia short in lenght abd make cranck run dry and destory it D series engine cant be swap in it without major alteration as A series engine and d series engine Mount are differerent plus accord engine bay is very slim

    Thanks you for the info Saboor.

    In the end I couldn't get a car; I was supposed to get my CGPA upto 3.5 so my dad would get me one. Couldn't get it . I will get this car someday if I can; it is my second favourite Accord, the first being CL9.

    I doubt its the Accord B20A, there is a 90% chance its a CRV engine. The Accord engine cannot be supported on the ground by itself, it will fall forward like the A16 engine. To make it sit you need to place some bricks under the front mount.

    The Accord B20A is very rare now as its ancient and not in demand at all, When I was in Karachi you could see a few twin carb A18 engines and a few damaged Accord B20A units lying around in scrap.

    btw - @zainiqbal1990

    there is a sort of dumb way to test if the key you have is a copy of the factory locks installed in your car, there is a keyslot in the floor of the car, this locks the boot (the pull lever wont work if you lock the key)

    if your key rotates this lock, (be careful - dont spin it all the way as a dirt logged lock can stick in locked position) - your key profile is the one the factory gave. If it is then you can actually order a key from Honda for this car, or you can get a locksmith to make a key from the lock profile of that little keyslot - if yours is rounded off and worn out.

    Also test it in the glovebox. If your smith is smart enough he can make you the valet key too. That key only opened the driver door and rotated the ignition.

    That lock was never replaced by anyone in Pakistan and it was almost never used so it remains in new condition.
