Default Honda Accord Cl9 MD Player

    Hi guys,

I'm new to PW forums, needed some information regarding Honda built in MD player that comes in Accord Cl7/8/9 (picture attached ). It says MD player and i was under the impression that a normal compact disc 80 mm (pic attached) would work on it but it doesn't seem to go in hence i'm confused. Experts please help.

    Thanks.

Xack, a MD Player (or Minidisc player) will play minidiscs. These are smaller than CD's, and the disc itself is encased in a plastic cartridge type cover. For reference, see the pic at the following URL:

The picture you've given above is of a mini compact disc. Those are exactly the same as CD's, except smaller in size (and perhaps even capacity). These are not the same as minidiscs (although I can completely see the potential for confusion).

As of right now, even the MD player is a dying (or maybe dead) tech, even in Pakistan. But if you look around, you may yet find a way to get some blank disks and either try to find a way to burn to the disc, or alternatively, get a shop to record on a minidisc for you. I myself had an MD player in my jeep, but never used it. Hope this helps.

You will require Mini Discs that are packed in plastic container.
