    Default 9th Generation Accord Retractable Mirror - North America.

    So shifted to the US and ended up getting a 9th Generation Accord. While the car runs beautifully and all there is one key feature which is missing and thats auto-retractable mirrors/power folding side view mirrors. YES, Amreeka does not offer autoretractable mirrors in an ACCORD. It's a little wierd but thats how it is.

    While living at your own house the requirement is minimal, living in a apartment complex with sometimes close to pillar parkings makes this an issue and I was thinking of replacing these with either from Japan/Europe/Asia, since these are not available here OEM.

    Can anybody help/confirm their availability in Pakistan? I know the car is relatively new and might be rare. Also would I be able to use the same mirrors or get everything new..

    Thanks for the help,

    Usman
    @Xulfiqar bhai please help.

    IL - getting back to your question, have you tried calling Canadian dealers?

    Buying from Thailand is another option but then there might be the left/right hand drive issue with the mirror orientation. If you do manage to source them, getting them wired up and installed would be another pain + pricey.

    What variant and trim do you have?

    2.4I EX-L. Haven't contacted yet. Was looking for options. Yeah that's the other thing that came to mind plus the warranty voiding and all. Though ALOT of people hate the fact that they aren't automated on US forums... need to see if Canada has it or not. Sourcing would be easy. Will try and find someone for installation.

    What variants are you driving? I am going to start a search for a 2013 CPO V6 soon for myself

    Well, we do get this 9th gen accord in pakistan brand new for a whopping 1 crore rupees. And ours has auto retractable mirrors as standard. Perhaps if some one can call up any honda atlas dealer and ask them, I'm sure they can source it for the customer. Might charge a premium and give a week or so's time, depending on the inventory etc.

    Also, the rhd lhd mirrors are different, they'll fit bolt on but you may have to turn them all the way out to make them useable. But I guess the dubai/middle east model accord's mirrors would fit perfectly, if you could source them. Another alternative could be that you somehow find junkyard retractable mirrors in pakistan/dubai regardless of rhd lhd and then dismantle them and do a swap of internals. Never tried this though.
    Hope this helps.

    Hey taimur, nice to see you here. Yeah true, thats why I actually asked. Retrofitting the assembly will be a pain because wiring will be different, half this and half that will be very difficult. The canada option is something that I am looking into, lets see.

    After Canada, sourcing from UAE would be best. Keep us posted!

    No luck from Canada either. Now trying UAE, but I think when I come back to Pakistan picking them on the way or someone coming from UAE might be a better option than getting it delivered. Or I can see how many people online want it and get a bulk thing.

    I am worried about the wiring though. Will also need to get the driver trim panel to accommodate the switch and make it as OEM as possible.
