Default Need expert advice on Galant-GDI and Accord

    Hi Everyone,

i am looking for a sedan preferably JAP assembled and have see two options on Pakwheels:

    1) an unregistered Galant 98 model, 1.8ltr GDI, immaculate condition, 90K done, trip tonic, all time 4 wheel drive, without sunroof, price Rs. 850K. i need suggestions about the car, its fair price and especially feedback about its all time 4 wheel drive feature, to my little knowledge it will be a little heavy on fuel (i will run this car on petrol, no CNG). is it possible to disengage the 4 wheel drive feature without any technical impact?

    2) another option is 91 accord, un-registered, immaculate condition, 2.0ltr, 44K done, left hand, auto, without sunroof, Price 550K. fair price to be offered and converting from left to right is a good idea? any technical drawback?

i need fair recommendations as i am looking for comfort and safety. as both cars are in excellent condition so i am willing to pay extra:-)

Why do you want to disengage the 4-wheel drive in your galant?
My bet go for the galant its a newer car and it probably has a lot more torque tahn the accord hence will be more powerful!

dr3ad555...as i will be run Galant on petrol so my guess is AWD will consume more fuel. i will get better traction with AWD but if disengage it mechanically, will there be any issue?

Accord is 2.0ltr, just 44K driven but left-hand , however, its look are very decent and one of the best accord model as per info available on the web.

    Experts, i need your feedbacks.

Just wanted to check, is your Galant still for sale, and whats your price? And did you swap the GDI with a Diesel Engine? How's it performing?

    Will appreciate your response. Thanks.
    Till Later,

    Twisted.

    I like Galant also
I'm a freak who lost his mind in the busy world of today and takes his frustration by being funny with others
