    on this engine you'd get 0 gain, even with full "stage one" mods (what a silly name) you'll get nothing. infact these so-called "stage one" mods only push your powerband higher up the rev range which robs these engines of what little bottom-end torque they produce.

    My advice is to ensure you have the correct plug gaps, clean plugs (stock), fresh (stock) wires, a fully charged battery etc

    @anyone who wishes to argue
    feel free to compare a set of stock wires versus a set of the best wires on a dyno on an alto and you'll see what i'm talking about.

    That you'd have to test yourself, see what that does. In my case, in the mehran when it was on CNG, the bosch 4 tippies increased mileage by about 8 to 10 kilometers per a full tank. The best advantage of using these plugs was the change interval was very long, they lasted about 35000 kilometers EASILY. Even after that many kilometers they were fine. So you can say that I only changed my plugs three to four times since 2004. Excluding the ones that were changed due to make diagnosing easier for some missing / bucking problems.

    On petrol, almost ZERO difference on mileage or performance. Just that the change interval is 3 to 4x the normal stock denso / ngk plugs.

    you will feel zero difference in iridium and less performance in bosch plugs, because your ignition coil and ignitor are that of a POKEMON car, tiny and weak, german cars use a big coil to give jurrasic sparks at the plug tips, and bosch plugs do require high current thats why they are thicker at the firing tip

    ^^Agreed....Wires Just Won't Do Justice With Plugs....You Should Add Heavy Coil Too...I Suggest Using One Of BOSCH Or Get Some Big One Used In American Cars..

    a big coil warrants for a resistor on the positive and a high capacity ignitor too - using a low resistance (big) coil instead of a regular high resistance bolted in place will promptly fry the pickup generator and ignitor circuits

    And a high capacity ignitor too - in short redo the whole ignition system

    Default spark plugs and wires

    yup exactly !basically what happens is that with these plugs and wires when installed is that u get a very very little throtle response activnes and u take it as performance upgraded which is actually not its just the actual performance of the car which u feel after a good tuning aswell,i agree with Xulfi bhai and others that u should redo the ignition system before u think about some performance cz these plugs which ur tawking about (bosch 4tips) have a higher heat range which is not required for such a small engine.just get single tip irridiums if u want to change the plugs cz they have just the right heat range for ur engine spending money on 4tips and plug wires is not a good option to go for.do ur ignition system as suggested by other respected members and u'll feel it
    i'd suggest u ik16 which have 5 heat range.
