Hi Guys,
Anyone has any idea why 2010 CNG Alto's idle RPM might increase after driving it for about 20-25 minutes? Is there anything inside the car that controls the RPM (really naive user here) coz sometimes (mostly when running on petrol) the idle RPM comes down to normal speed but on CNG it doesn't. I got it's first service recently and the guy reduced the idl RPM but it jumped up again after driving it for about 5 minutes. I'm concerned this might affect the mileage of the car.Should I be concerned? Should I be breathing down the service center's neck?
First sorry as I have no idea about what the anwser to your question is.
I am going to book an Alto in a weeks time, I would like to know how you rate the vechile? millage? air conditioning? etc? whould you recommend alto?
what's your price range?
its normal .... in my city RPM stays at 500-600 on petrol but when car comes to CNG it jumps to 800-900. But it transferred to gas it must be stable it must not fluctuate <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I am going to book an Alto new.
If your price range only permits Alto (680-700) it's not a bad car. Obviously if you can find a good second hand Vitz, that's much better.I'm still in the process of gauging the mileage, though air-conditioning is good.
Good luck and take good care of car, Drive safe. I Love Alto in term of running, AC, Mileage and Maintenance.Research on forum you will found very useful tips for cars.
