suzuki alto has problems with battery.my 07 alto is running on its 3rd new battery.usually its 1 own fault.using AC on idle is the cause.my wife once kept the a/c on while waiting for kids at school for half an hr for a week.brand new bty was screwed as the idle rpm was low and ac was tripping and draining the bty.

It does come with a standard warranty. I just got mine this month and they handed me over a battery warranty card as well.

Yes its included in the warranty.
You do get a warranty card for the battery,CD Player etc.
The company i-e AGS or Exide will replace the battery for you if it has manufacturing defects.

the alto usually has terrible grounds and the battery never charges properly - check for ground loss on the alternator case

    - Check your battery water regularly
    - Alto's Generator is more efficient :-) it overcharges battery
    - I replace my Alto's battery after every 1.5 - 2 years

^^ that is not OVER effeciency - its not switching off at 14.00 Volts as it should, loss of ground raises the output voltage cut out level.

the overcharging or constant loss of electrolyte is cheap manufacturing and/or a very dying battery

use a voltmeter to check cut in and cut out voltage - then clamp the alternator with a good ground connection along with a relayed switch connection, - it'll come back to 14V magically.. I believe your electric wala and battery wala are mentally challenged..

    Haha
Same was said to me by the battery guy when I questioned him about the white precipitates/powder on the battery terminals.
@Zulfiqar I tried your vaseline/baking soda formula on the battery terminals after cleaning them with a toothbrush and then sanding them.

Didn't want to create a new thread, but I would appreciate if you could tell me which battery you were using and it's AMP rating.

I have an Exide NS44 battery that needs replacing, but checking the Exide website, they do not have the battery listed any more, and the AMP rating is not printed on my Exide battery. I am unsure whether it's 35/40/higher AMP rated battery.

Also, if someone has any advice and suggestions as to which battery would be best for an Suzuki Alto VXR? Prices would also be extremely helpful.

any 45 amp battery will work, BUT before you swap, read the whole thread - you need to check for proper grounds & ground Tap on the alternator .
