    SALAM.BRO.IM FROM RAHIM YAR KHAN.N MY PROB.IS THAT

    kay meri car cng par to bilkul fit chalti hay or vip average deti hay magar cng say petrol par shift nai hoti or petrol ki smell ati hy bht ziada or kal dhkkay par start hui.i think petrol over ho gaya tha.or kabhi convert hoti hy to kabhi nhi.or mechanic kehta hy kay car ka carborator kharab hy.jo kay new.40,000 ka hay i think.or car petrol par low apeed par around 20 to 30km. bht jerks leti hy.model 2004 .63000km done.but kabhi koi prob.nhi aya.so plz reply.

    First of all change your mechanic. Nothing can go wrong with a carburretor, except a worn out butterfly which can be bought/repaired for under 500 rupees.

    Have you visited authorised suzuki dealers?

    @ bango. g bhai jan jo mera mechanic hay wo abhi pak suzuki say chor kar aya hy or apni workshop dali hay.or yes u r rite act.wo yehi keh raha hay kay buterfly ka prob.hy par wo sai move nahi karti or kabhi bilkul hi nahi karti jis ki waja sy prob.ho raha hy or ye bhi ky us nay carborator clean kia tha or phir bhi sai ni hui .ab us ny jawab day dia hy ky theek nhi ho skti.logon ki car to cng khtm ho jany kay baad band ho jati hy or wo petrol par start karty hain or ho jati hy par meri car nhi hoti or ab to chlty hue bhi nhi hui sai tarha 2 say 4 metre tk ja kar petrol par band ho gai .phr ab start to hui hay dhakkay par.magar dhuan bht hy or mising b.like jerks

    Coming to your issue, it clearly indicates your car is running extra rich (matlab over ho rahee hai). It can be due to butterfly not opening and closing properly, or a worn out butterfly.

    first of all change the petrol filter it happen when filter get choked and get ur car carby service may jet are choked

    bro.im totally new n blanked abt cars.so plz mujhy ye bataen kay fuel filter check karny ky koi kitny paisy lay ga.or doosra ye kay smoke mujhy black or white mix laga tha.or jahan tak mechanic ki bat hy to act.rahim yar khan ki suzuki dealership wlay chor hain.or kisi ko bhi salry nhi mili thi wahan to takreeban sab chor gaye.or wo bht badnaam log hian jinhon ny dealership li hui hay.

    Repair shouldn't cost more than 500 rupees.

    bhai new kitny ki ay gi buterfly.or kia ye easily mil jati hay.?or fuel filter abhi tk change nhi hua.or na hi mujhy pata tha is kay baray mai.ye kitny ka ay ga.or car 63000 km.kar chuki hay.or mostly cng par chali hay.

    Ammar you'll end up spending twice more if you are not getting the right diagnostics.

    A repaired butterfly can work for 2 years easy. I don't know the cost of a new butterfly, but considering its just a flat round piece of metal it shouldn't cost a fortune.

    I still suggest you visit a proper mechanic, get proper diagnostics, and then get your work done.

    Just imagine you change your butterfly, replace your fuel filter, and in the end, the problem comes out to be something simpler, like plug wires costing 130 rupees each(which being faulty may result in missing) or cleaning of distributor which will cost less than 50 rupees.

    bhai jan ap ko ye sab is liyey easy lagta hay bcz ap ko sab kuch pata hay abt carz.or wo to mai bilkul ab mechanic change karn ga or suzuki dearship cal kar ky pata kiya tha wo kehty kay new buterfly nhi ati.or wahan aik larka frnd hay to wo kehta hay kay wo kabli ka pata kar kay bata dy ga.
    ab thori daer tk ksi mechanic kay pas jaon ga jo acha ho.

    That's a wise decision. Dealerships aren't really expensive apart from the spare parts (which you can choose to buy from the scrap yard - they have no issues with it)

    I went to Honda Fort yesterday with a friend who had spent almost 40k on his City iDsi with different mechanics and still it didn't give the desired results. Honda Fort checked the car attaching it with HDS, cleaned the throttle body, told us that the IACV has been tampered with (the roadside mechanic did that).

    They told us the better option will be to replace it (IACV) : The new one costs 12k, they also said an old one would cost us less than 2k...whichever we want to buy.

    They temporarily fixed the old IACV until we find the new one, rechecked it with HDS, and the car is working flawlessly now.

    And they charged minimum - lesser than the usual roadside mechanics.

    I had exactly the same problem with my coure. I triel different places but not a single workshop/mechanic was able to help me out. In the end i was left with no other option but to sell my car. Did'nt mean to discourage you. I wish all the best for you.

    @poster..go to authorized dealer they will solve ur problem for sure...nd i think the diaphragm which is in the carburetor is out of order so get it cheked from authorized dealer

    I got the same problem in my Alto-03, car was running fine on CNG, whenever you shift it to petrol it will turn OFF with petrol smell coming out.

    The culprit was butterfly and block lines of carbeuretur as the car was mostly driven on CNG, my mechanic compeltely open the Carb, change the butterfly and clean it with carb cleaner, now it works fine on both CNG n Petrol.
