^ my 07 alto vxr 's mileage is 56k. Just do the periodic maintenance properly.use good quality engine oil,n filters, get tappets adjusted after 12k n do the maintenance as per service manual. Car has 165 shoes.mileage would improve further on stock 145s.remember driving style matters alot.altos n mehrans become dangerous after 80kmph.i drive under 100kmph n seldomm touch the 100 mark.read the hypermiling thread to achieve better mileages

    Smile Bought A New Cng

Finally Finally Finally and finally bought a New CNG kit and installed it , well the corolla cng kit was so badly used and he was selling it for 25000 , showed that kit to a expert n he told me that its totally crap and is used about 5 to 7 years. its Kit was like a burned fry Pan, he said go for new one and he arranged a new kit for 29000, hes a really good CNG Mechanic at Warsak Road Peshawar, "ABID Ustaz" lol
well he did a great job, i hardly hardly feel a tiny difference that its cng and not patrol. installation was good.tuning is great and every thing Alhamdulilah went very well.

Yup bro you got it perfectly right. But don't get confused with interchanges and the stays/rest stops. Interchanges are actually used to leave the motorway. You don't need to find these boards you will see them a fair 50/60 kms before the actual stops and will keep getting them until you see "QAYAM o TA'AAM 2 KMs" and so on...

Below are the stops where you can get the fuel on motorway (again from LHR to ISB):

    1. Sukheki
    2. Sial more (CNG not available)
    3. Bhera
    4. Kalar Kahar (CNG not available)
    5. Chakri

@alee1,The capacity of the cylinder is measured by the quantity of water it can hold. In case of water, 55KG=55L. Get some basic knowledge in order to c wht i m talking abt. U even lack the basic knowledge weights n mass.
Wht was there to get offended by my reply? did i curse u anywhere abt having the lack of knowledge?
Tell u wht u, how abt u show me one car in pakistan that comes with a carbon fiber cylinder?

@alee1, btw, hav u seen the cylinders in the links u posted? do they look anything like the cylinders we get here in Pakistan? These cylinders cost more than the enitre CNG kit that we get here. Srsly i pity u for being arrogant abt the lack of knowledge.

Congrats on the new kit! do make sure that u clean the air filter once every two weeks. Also, whenever the air filter element is changed, the kit requires a little tweaking(flow of CNG into the carby needs to b readjusted).

now in all ur basic math and science of gas occupying volume tht u stated, where exactly do u justify the capacity of the cylinder being stated as either 55L or 55KG? At 200 bar of pressure, the 55L or 55KG CNG cylinder can hold 8.05KG of CNG. The general awam here, does not state the capacity of a cylinder in terms of pressure(do u disagree? if u do, then u r clearly mistaken)
Now as u say tht the capacity of a cylinder is characterized by the mass of the gas and pressure at which is stored, i completely agree to it since tht is the convention. But in case of CNG cylinders, ppl here state capacity of the cylinder in terms of its size! which is the volume of the water it can hold. both a 55KG/55L and a 40KG/40L cylinder will hold 8.05KG of gas and still be full(since gas occupies the all volume available to it, duh!) but both will b at different pressures.
tell u wht, how abt some1 goes to the merchandiser of CNG cylinders then wht will the seller tell the customer abt the capacity? He will certainly not state the mass of gas alongwith the safety pressure as the capacity, he will only say whether the cylinder is 40KG, 55KG or 60KG. (am i wrong in saying this?)
Since u say tht 55KG is actually the mass of gas tht the cylinder can hold at the maximum pressure, then tell me tht at wht possible safe pressure will the normal CNG cylinder(which holds 8.05KG of gas at 200-210bar) be able to store 55KG of gas?
Coming to the case of carbon fiber cylinder, i'll b glad if u can post the pics of the carbon fiber cylinder tht u own. n do tell me abt its merchandiser.
I m not insulted at all my friend, i m only amused to c how some1 can actually run around in a circle for so long
