    Default Vibration in Steering ALTO

    Dear Friends...

I have purchased new ALTO the previous month....
Its fine so far but have problem driving at 100-120 KMPH with the steering which vibrates very much. It creates doubts in mind that it might get unbalanced and uncontrollable.
What I am trying to ask is that, is it the normal situation with ALTO or something needs to be done....

What is the car model and the mileage?
It could be a allignmet/balancing issue or if the car has clocked around 1 lac then it might be needing replacement of rack or pinion bushes.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

Daniya he already said in his first post that its a NEW ALTO one money old.

Try wheel allignmet/balancing, as this is not an issue with alto, I also have 4 months old alto in OEM condition I took her to 130km/hr there was no vibration of the steering wheels as you stated.

I am assuming you bought a zero meter car last month running stock (General tires). A wise thing, which most people do, is to replace the General tires with better tires and get your wheel balancing done. By the way 120km/hr is a bit too fast for an Alto. Safety first!!!!

Iv got an alto as well, moreover stock rims may be damaged, no matter the car is brand new, alto's stock rims are made out of paper, hit them in few bumps n ul have to get them repaired...hope alignment does it for you!

Wheel balancing and alignment did not solve this issue for my friend. He changed his tires and installed EPS in his alto and problem solved.

Thank You all for your precious suggestions.
I think Wheel Balancing and Alignment can be done instantaneously than to changing of tires.
If needed, which company tires are most suitable for Alto?
I do agree with you, Sir Razak Syed, but if its a proble then it needs to be corrected.
I'll report you once i get it done.

    Thank You all...!!!
