    Default alto 660cc engine problem

    hello guys

i have a japanese alto 660cc...the problem is that the engine is knocking badly even at slow speed and when u accelerate a bit it happens even more...

i recently changed the engine rings and the valves...the engine check light was on and the avg was alto quite bad so i alto changed the map sensor and bought it frm bilil gunj...but the check light was still on then when i changed the engine's knock sensor the checklight turned off....

after this the knocking was very faint and i thought it might be the fuel bt with time it has gotten worse and the fuel avg still isn't that good..

what is the prob here?? can anyone help me out plz?? thanks

wow man you went too far with the rings and all...

you just need to clean ur fuel tank, fuel filter, get new spark plugs and gap them properly, and last but not least get a full tank of hi octane!

i am also changing the plugs and the DTC is showing about the knock sensor and its mostly due to spark plugs.. i hope the light goes off after proper gap setting and replacement of plugs.

    Dear members,

Is there anyone who has successfully rebuild the engine of alto 660cc?

If so, please share your experience because I have heard that after rebuild, the car loses its smooth drive and good feel.

As Pakistan and Somalia are the only two countries on earth using low grade petrol (Ron 87). So in order to compensate the low octane rating of normal petrol we add hi octane fuel (Ron 95).

    (87+95)%2 = 91

The best practice is to use 50% hi octane and 50% normal petrol for a healthy engine.

I have heard that from November onward, we are going to get good quality petrol (Ron 92).
