Thread: Want to increase performance of my Alto car

    Default Want to increase performance of my Alto car

    Dear All experts,

    need all of your valuable suggestion.

    I have got Alto VXR 2010 model 13000 KM on ODO meter, I want to increase its performance in term of pick, smooth drive and fuel consumtion as well. I use my car on CNG.

    I need suggestions in 2 options (low budget and little high budget but not too much).

    plz give your valuable suggestion for instance changing (plug, plug wire or anymore etc)

    Low budget - Weight reduction

    High budget - G15 swap

    Medium budget - CAI, tuning - may add 1hp in the end.

    u can use ngk platinums with 10mm rspec peformance wires along with cold air intake kit if u want add ons for ur engine,if not go for a g15 swab as bango suggested.

    g15 is engine code of a suzuki engine which is 1.5L ,by swap i meant he can put in that engine

    getting good ignition coil plug wires, simota carby air intake and NGK platinums spark make significant differrence and adding exhaust and piping make it it competend to stock 1300cc corolla 2007 8 model ....

    CIA, Iridiums and Plug Wires improve your initials.
    I too own an Alto and I never expect too much from it neither I compare it with any other car.

    But after these upgrades you will feel a significant improvement.
    In short, an Improved Alto is what you can say after these upgrades !

With ignition systems spec more close to welding equipement. Not with your usual bread and butter chugger engines.

    same with filters - people say that adding a K&N air filter increases HP - nonsense - have you ever seen the amount of dirt that ends up on the inlet throttle plate. And if you look through it to sunlight you will see sunlight.

    NO WAY that air filter is ending up on my engine.
    brother hats off for all this.........but have u ever seen the material of suzuki air filter.....or any other market filter.........these kn's or simota's material is way too better than those papery filters
    would it not help in filtering???

    Well to be frank local assembllers do not use good quality plugs n plug wires.Though copper plugs usually available in mkt are FAKE . This is why these after mkt Platinum Plugs n Plugs make the difference.
    Yet For after mkt filters.Iv been using them since 2005 in many cars though installed in many friends cars as well. My civic is driven 185k kms Driven Alhumdullilah wth no problems using After mkt filter on it.
    Most of the ppl who set our cars drive them or race them feel the difference between stock and our cars due to These MODs. not any engine cams high cr etc upgrades etc
    Yes K&N does suck inn dust but the FAKE 1 which is nowdays quiet abundant in the local market. We should be simply wise while buying any autopart it matters alot wht kind n quality of parts ur using.
    For these khybers,mehran alto etc. How these plugs etc help in topend the fueling system is out due to poor ignition by poor quality stock stuff when we overcome the diffeceny we have a result in shape of EFICENECY

    leave those a Friend is runing 40k+ kms old Simota carby filter he dumped the cng kit very next day after installin intake plugs n plug wires as got very good mileage.yet he is not a good keeper as oil change tenure is very long like 6 7k kms still Genuine engine never required to adjust valve clearance etc.

    If this company can provide filteration tests on paper and airflow charecteristics it would be good. About your filter setup - I would never use it - too dusty for the engine by any measure.

    bhai get a Multi tester n test ur plug wires for resistance n compare the same wth 10mm plug wire.the lesser resetiance the more charges will be delivered to plugs hence better spark which will lead to more efficent combustion.
    And also allow radio noise if the resistance is too low.

    this alto of aamirq can compete 1.3 corolla xli but due higher top speed of corolla it will loose at long tracks as alto got power to weight ratio in intial it can give a tough time to stock corolla

    @jz buddy i'm a strong blevr of plugs,wires etc infact ive experinced the power of thee too...i highly support yuo in this regard that these thingz do work alot...in simple words''goray pagl nai hain who go for these mods and count it as a primary stage (stage1) in the feild of mods"it works alot there is no 2 opinion in this.

    @ junaid it is not ruined if ur car is hot and and have good engine oil...


    I rember xulfiqar bhai said that alto have pokemon ignition coil that must be changed as japanese and german small cars are equiped with high quality ignition coils for JURASSIC sparks ... I think xulfiqar bahi ko abhi ghussa hai is liyai woh is baat ko nahi manenge becuse he believe in non wear and tearing performance upgrades.. I am beginner of beginners but atleast i understand these things and the credit goes to pak wheels and jZ ...
