I have also ALto 2010 model and the same problem when it was new but now it has completed 14000 KM and running fine, buddy the new car engine is thight and after some milage it gets fine.

One more thing and really true, one time take your car on highway or empty road and drive very harshly on very high RPM dont give your car breath for 25-30 KM, it is also better you give your car to anyone as i gave my car to a friend of mine who drove it very harshly and after that belive me the result was very fine and this advise was given by a mechanic. but plz do it only one time.

the logiccally cause of above desi tips is (the engine parts are tight and by doing this the engine comes at normal side)

I dont know is this tips OK or not but truly speaking I had very good experience.

Also get your car tunned up from good mechanic also get tappet adjusted as well

    my friend,

I just got it tunned from my area Malir and gave the harsh drive, and remember dont adjust the tappet so early.

Dont be worried after some running it will be smooth because as per my last reply the newer engine is tight and after some run it gets fine.

How many KM your car been driven?

If it has been run well enough, then the tappet can be adjusted from good mechanic.

    @ Shqamar,

How do you say the local mechanic are not good, my friend there are lots of good mechanics here, even in 3S work shop mostly mechanics are same.

I also took my car in a Suzuki 3S (dont want to mention the name) but result was useless and then i got me car tunned from my area mechanic and it was running perfectly for about a year.

hi.i also bought new alto in nov last year.when i drive it first it's like a donkey cart .i filled the petrol tank and converted it into petrol .i drove 1000km on petrol and then after first inspection converted it to cng .at first it pick was poor but after consulting a few cng mechanics it's adjusted.
now it touches above 100km/h on CNG in 3rd gear.
    you just need an adjustment
tell the foreman at suzuki workshop that u want speed not mileage..!!! and they will tune your car in that way...!
if problem persists contact Suzuki customer service center..!..

    HI to all
i also bough a new Alto CNg VXR
the car was splendid on Petrol . gave an average of 12 on petrol with A/C
It was bit sluggish on CNG but reasonable. it was giving 145km in city with A/C on a 55L cylinder.

But after 1000 Km i sent to to Naseer autos SITE, its gone totally rubbish
    > The engine sounds like a diesel engine.
    > The A/C is dead the cooling is hardly noticeable (it was chilling for the past two weeks)
    > The car was soundless but now its even worse than my 86 charade
    > and dont get me going on the pick up. its moody. some time it will shoot and some times you would be wonder if the gas is finished too slugish.

So i was wondering if its suppose to be like this after the 1000km checkup and will be fine after a while or have they ruined my car.
