    Default New tyres for Alto

Suggest me some good tyres for my Alto. It has got 12" Alloys. What about Dunlop Eco? Don't they look very small on 12'' alloys?New tyres for Alto -276992

Any brand's tyre will look the same with the same size.

Just installed yokohama 13s on our Alto. Feels good after driving it for 4 years on 12s.

I recently changed tyres of my Alto (went straight to tyre wala from shworoom) replaced the stock tyres with yokohama S707 (165/70/12). Trust me these are awsome tyres, HUGE difference would be felt, in terms of grip and softness. I am just loving them. its price was 4,700 per tyre (early july). Yoko is way better then donlop, trust me.

You said you dont want the rims to look small. In that case 155/70/R12 will be the best.Grip is really good. However,If you don't care for the rims looking small, you can go for 165/70.
However, I strictly advise you to stick to stock rim size as you will encounter alot of suspension problems if you go for bigger alloys.

Yes my friend I am not planning to go for 165 instead I will use 155 as 165 makes the steering very hard as well.

IMO its a bit small for Alto.
Moreover with this tyre size the total dia of the wheel will be reduced.
The stock size is 145/80/12 and the wider tyre having equal dia is 165/70/12.
If you plan to keep the 12" rim then 165/70/12 is the perfect size.
If you are planning to upgrade to 13" rims then 165/65/13 will be good.

Yokohama is more superior than Dunlop (If you are getting original ones)
I always wanted to get Yokos in this size for my car but was unable to find Yokohamas in this specific size so the next best option was Dunlop ECO.
ECO is also good but Yokohama is much better than ECO.
