Unhappy Alto 2012 Alloy Wheels Problem

Hi friends i am new at Pakwheels and feels great to be a member of Pakwheels. I have purchase 2012 Suzuki Alto VXR CNG. The problem i am facing in my car is very severe. I got GT RADIAL CHAMPIRO BXT Tyres with specification of 165/65 R13 in my Alto the problem is that when bumby surface comes only the rear left wheel touches the body and the tire get scratched by this which is not good for the tires. I think that this is the manufacturing fault in Alto as if the tires were extra wide then both the rear tires should touch the body on bumpy roads. Only left rear wheel touches the body. Please tell me is their any way to adjust the rear wheels axle or suspension high ho skti hao plz guide me in a best possible manner .THANKS

13" rim will not only damage ur tyres , they will destroy the suspension as well.
they are not at all suitable for ALTO

You can install spacers but that will look too bad.The OEM height looks good on any car.My foremost advice to you is to stick to OEM size.13 inches rims will eventually destroy your suspension and you will have kanghi work after a year or so.A friend wanted to go for 13 inches rims so he installed Vitz rear shocks but the car looked weird. And after a year he got a 60 thousand bill of his suspension!

The best size is 155/70/R12.155 is the tyre width,70 is the height and R12 is the rim size. One step deviation from normal size is not a big deal.I am using the same size for a year now and the car is running perfectly.

I am using the 165/65/R13 in my Alto for the past 6 years with no problem what so ever. The rear tires on my Alto never touch the wheel arch expect for when there 3 persons sitting at the back. I have literately gone off the road with my alto and never faced any such problem. And the suspension is also in excellent shape, Allhamdoulillah. In fact, i feel that the comfort level is better than the Alto's with R12. And i am saying this based on personal experience.
If u use ur car with 3 passengers at the back, then u should switch to R12. Otherwise, get the suspension checked. 3S ppl will not help u in this matter as they'd say that ur warranty is void.

The tyres are too wide for your car. I have the same profile on my car. There isn't any issue with the front tyres, but the rear ones ONLY touch the body when one is going at a pretty reasonable speed and the car goes over and un-leveled smooth road; that too when the level is changed abruptly. Bumps have not effect on it.

Your car must be facing the same issue. 13 isn't suitable for the suspension of Alto but if you put a tyre with thinner profile, you'll get over the issue you are facing at the moment.

As far as I know, the wheels touch the outer side of the body. How can spacers help? They will push the wheels further to the outer side...

i have 2012 alto too and i wanted to change rims and tires but previously on my mehran i had dunlop 165/70/12 Eco on Arsalano 12 light weights
and since i installed them in 2008 feb the suspension work never stooped even till the week i sold my car and that bad experience led me to stick to alto's OEM generals whose grip is 50% of dunlop
change back to 12 size and use hankook 155/70/12 best tires for alto
