Default Suitable Engine Oil for Alto at lowest price

I have a brand new Alto being used as a second car and runs around 10km a day only. It has done 2200km in six months. I have to change its first oil now. I am looking for a suitable oil but at low price. Being a car with very old type of engine, I believe it does not require a high grade expensive oil. Recommended oils for Alto as per manual are SG grade 10W-40 or 20W-50. What the experts suggest?

your car is new, stick to 10W-40. Caltex Havoline Formula is an excellent choice, or maybe Castrol's Magnatec.

zic 10w40 is for newer engines , and caltex havoline 20 w50 is for older engines , they both are as good as each other , zic is a bit more expensive than caltex , its up to u what u can afford !!

    use fully synthetic mobil 1.

    some may disagree.

    It might be expensive.

you can leave it in the car for years and as you drive the car less it will be perfect. It wont harm the engine as no sludge will deposit.
