My JDM alto has the same issue. My little bit of research says that there are two models in JDM alto. One is meant for carrying loads and one is for passengers. The one with a sticker on hatchback which mentions loading capacity to be 200kg, has the seat issue. The seat is not straight its angle is less than 90, which is annoying for the back seat passengers. Although a very good option to seat one's inlaws. The plus point is you can put medium size furniture in the car.
The alto which is meant for carrying passengers has no seat issues, but its trunk is really small.

rear bench seat means these cars are not sedans these are 2 seater work wagons. Locate same model around you and check for rear seat setup. Goto yards around your town replace what is needed - same is the case with Toyota PROBOX a work-van & same shape is FIELDER a hatch-wagon

Be wary that if the car was a 2 seat van then it could be real shagged. I have seen a few probox's in Karachi that were terrible, they seemed to be used by some sort of delivery system with least maintenance.

I have to carry a lot of stuff every weekend. I love the large trunk of my alto. I am looking for an option which can save the trunk and the back seat passengers at the same time. Any idea about the price of back seat in rawalpindi?

hey bro!! i got the same car.. Got the seat fixed from JailRoad Lahore.. The guy charged 2500.. The seat is now perfect and foldable as well.. Another relative of mine got the same thing done for 1000/-Rs he was teasing me that the guy looted me and charged 2500/-Rs.. When we compare the seats.. His seats were fixed i.e they were not foldable. That chawal denter welded the rods and by that the function of folding the seat was eliminated.. Whereas mine are incline and flat foldable as well..

The seat belts for rear seat are far behind the back seat. These seat belts are useless unless the rear seat is adjusted. There must be a DIY way to adjust the rear seat.

Sorry for replying late.. if your going towards mozang,, The shop is on the right hand side.. There is a big 3S suzuki showroom.. The shop is in the lane where there is the entrance of that 3s Workshop.. 3s Dealership is a corner building, There is a tea stall at the start of that lane and the seat guy is just besides the tea stall.
