    My Dear Brothers,

Mileage depends on many factors, so there is no outright right or wrong/ low or high consumption.
I have bought Suzuki Alto 660cc a week ago and it gives me 14km/L within city with AC (On & Off) but I am sure after getting the Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter and pluges changed, it will get better.

    Fuel consumption depends highly on:
    Engine Condition
    Petrol Quality
    Engine Oil
    Air Filters
    Sparlk Plugs
Usage - Long or within City plus how you accelerate

Unfortunately in Pakistan, we get the lowest grade petrol which adversely affects the fuel economy. (Just for your information the High Octane we get in pakistan is of lower grade than the normal petrol sold in UAE/ Saudia Arabia.)

I have Manual JDM Alto Manual Transmission and its very good at fuel. It goes 20KM/L within the city and upto 22KM/L on highway. This one has been running on HOBC only.

I also have a JDM Nissan Pino, Automatic which goes 16KM/L within the city and 19KM/L on highway. This one runs on Super.

    + Drive is very smooth
+ K6A Engine is 54 BHP which is even more then 1000 cc Santro
    + The comfort level
+ Safety Level (Body structure, ABS Brakes, SRS AirBags)
    + Equipment Level
    + The built quality
    + Durability

I think one should not go for only for economy but also must consider the above mentioned few points as well. At Last but not the least i'd prefer 660CC Alto on every Paki Car even the Cultus and all Suzuki products if it has low milleage orignally,.

Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

I myself use a 660cc car. and its mileage is 11-12km per litre without AC. not sure how to improve it as I have changed oil, air filter, done tuning etc. however one thing is sure that no other small car can match the interior/quality/speed/acceleration etc. however i think the problems in these cars are low mileage and unavailability of good mechanics and spare parts.

    Dear All ,

Alto 660CC has a DOHC engine.. Obviously the power it produces would be on the cost of fuel being consumed more.. Anyways i have Alto for the last 1 year.. With A/c it gives around 12.5 - 13 KM/l within city and without A/C it gives 15 - 15.5km/l..In My Opinioin Whereas Mehran Efi being SOHC would give better mileage that Alto.. Its mileage should be equal to Daihatsu MIRA 660 CC i.e around 18Km without A/C within city..
But Alto 660 is a fun car to own and drive.. I love it.. Mira is comparatively realy slow in accelaration
