Default Suzuki internal news regarding Wagon-R and Alto

From relevent internal " sources " in Pak suzuki .

i have just been informed that pak-suzuki has successfully imported around 100 prototype WAGON-R 's for display purposes.

they plan to assemble WAGON-R ( 4th gen ) , and launch it here in Pakistan .

    now ,

the problem they are facing is that they want to fit ALTO engine in it , and then sell it ...

but JAPAN has obsoleted that engine , and is unwilling to supply them the engine they want .
so all their eyes are set on some " trade venture" that is expected to take place shortly between INDIA , and PAKISTAN .
which will allow them to purchase the engines from MARUTI INDIA.

it is likely that , either 4th gen WAGON-R would be launched , or the ALTO would be continued.

final decision has not been taken yet .
men who reject to be ruled by the law of God , are ruled by the law of tyrants .

    Default New is new

No matter how much people crib about the quality of the new WagonR but still new is new. Sure a used Wagon R from Japan would have much better specs but its a used car after all. I too bought a new City a few years ago when I had the choice of a used Japanese Corolla. the feel and smell of a new car has its own charm. My suggestion would be to buy a VXL WagonR and upgrade it with body kit and better tyres and alloys.

We bought a wagon R VXL two days ago from Suzuki Sheikhupura. People criticizing Wagon R would be delighted to know that there is no VXL available in lahore, okara, raiwind, kasur and faisalabad. Only one or two with body kits are available ex-stock. That's a fact that speaks for the immediate acceptance of this car!

I had a pleasureable highway drive from sheikhupura to lahore (part highway, part motorway). I currently drive a corolla xli 2012. The wagon R is more comfortable and quieter than my Xli. The brakes are great, I like the driving position also, whereby one can better see traffic up ahead. The steering is softer than a civic 2014 or my xli 2012

I am happy with the tyres and would keep them. I would, however, change the rear view mirror with a tilt-one, and the horn in coming days, insha Allah. I would strongly recommend this car to anyone looking for a good car in 1.1m budget.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1398940498266.jpg

Ustad rolla and the word not quiter and not comfortable doesnt go with it.. civic 2014 EPS steering and not softer is something my mind doesnt accept.. how much more softness do you need?

Thanks gents. Since this is my mother's car, it would be occasionally used. Therefore, I would not be immediately in a position to comment on the fuel consumption.

With 145/80/R13 tyres AND power steering ... its bound to feel softer than a Civic even.

    Great.
And how does it indicates engine temperature? I don't see the gauge.
In some cars, there is a blue and red light, just like in Honda City and in some cars temperature is displayed in electronic display just like the fuel is being displayed in the picture you posted.

Suzuki was reluctant to introduce newer engines in Pakistan as the company said it wanted the trade with India to liberalize first. The reason as they stated was that their engine development and manufacturing has moved to India.

Can someone confirm if the new K10B engine is made in India?

Sir, we were also confused between the two. However, we chose Wagon R for the following reasons:
    1. most of the parts are imported
    2. Better gear and brake
    3. Beautiful interior

An amazing thing which i noticed that, with the AC on, if you drive right behind a diesel vehicle, you smell diesel inside the cabin, (true for my XLI 2012 or my previous city 2010). Whereas there is no smell inside the cabin.

I highly recommend it Wagon R.
