Everyone has their own preferences & then there are certain hard realities in life as well. The final decisions are a mixture of all the variables. As mature adults we should respect each other's decisions and keep the discussions professional like most of pakwheelers do ...
I have kept a Mark II, a Corona, A Corolla, A Mehran and currently an Alto. I mean life changes and you priorities/responsibilities/circumstances change ... I am sure most of senior members would agree with me.
Love what you have and thank Allah for his blessings... if you have a Mehran ... you are already enjoying something which millions dream of ...
I am grateful to Allah for all his blessings ...
I think the biggest hurdle in development of this market are the trade bans which limits the supply of parts ... once that is taken care of ... the prices are likely to drop ...
4 people in my family own JDMs and are quite happy ... and I must say that the quality is pretty amazing in comparison to locally manufactured cars ... but the fact remains ... that PARTS are a big issue ... we recently had to wait 4 weeks to secure a simple electronic switch for imported wagon R (my uncle's) ... as it wasn't available anywhere ...
I have never had any issues with my corolla and my alto; although both have broken down a few times in remote northern areas .. the locals guys were able to fix them up to reach the nearest city... but these imported cars are a different story.. within big cities these are just fine ... but still expensive to maintain...
Take Care ... and You guys rock ...
