Default Alto (Pakistani) Heater water leakage!!!!!!

I have alto local 2012 model, Couples of week back i noticed the heatup of engine because of low water level in radiator. Then I took my car to workshop and the mechanic added coolant into radiator. But after a day i noticed that the water+coolant is leaking through heater and the liquid entering into my left side seat. I took my car to a suzuki authorised service center. They seen all things and told me that its because of a coolant that the pipes of heater got damaged. And they said that it will cost around 6k to replace the heater tubes.
I told them to repair it on warranty. And they took some pictures and told me to come back after a week for check up to claim the warranty.

I want to ask the experts here that is it possible that the heater tubes can get damage due to a coolant??
And this problem came before i added coolant in it. But the mechanics and staff didnt agree with me.
Now i am afraid that i will have to pay for the charges.
    Please help me

    Thanks in advance

Brother, make this rule of thumb that never ever trust any warranty offered by any manufacturer in Pakistan.

Its a biggest fraud on name of warranty which is never meant to be honored.

Welcome to the club of proud owners of suzuki. Having fun?

Amazingly nobody informed you that what you are experiencing is a part of "fun" of owning a suzuki or a "Pakistan Assembled Car."

All of us should be proud that after killing our agriculture, energy, textile, CNG, fertilizer etc. industries we are still keeping alive our car "manufacturing" industry.

Sorry for being little off-topic. @risky1 bhai, in your case 90% chances are that you will have to live with this fault. Until you save some money and sell this car and buy a better car. This is a fact true for all suzukis and my experience since 1990 as well; since the time I started owning suzukis.

You can't add excessive coolant in the cooling system since coolants available in the market are already pre-mixed (call it diluted) with water. Coolant cannot start leaks in your new car. And there is a fair chance that any attempt to correct this issue will either worsen this problem or will definitley create another bigger fault. And then you will wish that your original complaint comes back to you and the newer bigger fault is taken back by suzuki "specialist" and kept with him for some other car.
I request you to try to live with these small faults. And look at the bigger picture. By purchasing a new suzuki you have saved an important national asset (car assembling industry.) I salute your love for your country. Only Allah can give its "Ajar."

Alhamdolillah. And you are definitely lucky.

I have owned 1988 Suzuki FX, 1990 Suzuki Alto, 1993 Suzuki Potohar, 1997 Suzuki Khyber, 1999 Suzuki Baleno, and now very recently two 2011 and 2012 Meherbans and all of them had problems.

1993 Suzuki Potohar was a special case. That was the time when "peeli taxi" scheme was at its "arooj." I booked it in January and got the car in September same year "alhamdolillah." It had "sea water" in place of coolant in its radiator, the radiator hose from thermosat housing to radiator never stopped leaking for its entire life until I sold it in 2005. The coolant reservoir bottle also never stopped leaking. The brake oil reservoir cap was loose from the very beginning and the brake oil was found contaminated with washing water. The seat wells were not painted and they were rusted since the very first day I took the car from show room. There was a strange noise coming from the gear box which suzuki "specialist" told me that it would need complete dismantling otherwise gear box will fail. But thankfully that never happened until 2005 and I lived with the noise. Whenever it rained feet of the driver and the passenger always soaked in water (and the comment from suzuki "specialist" was that it was the way how Potohars were designed. So it was a design issue.) Windscreen also leaked water. These were over and above the usual problems like lights not working, battery acid leaking, noises from doors and windows, missing body gaskets, steering play and vibration, wheel mis-alignment, wrong tyre pressures, locks not working, leaking radiators, broken radiator caps, meters not working especially the fuel gauge, speedometer needle fluctuating (this was a funny problem, the needle was like fluctuating between 40 and 60kms/h. I used to calculate average i.e., 50kms/h to estimate actual speed,) HVAC dials not working (e.g., if you want to fix air flow on your face you have to turn the dial to your feet to get the air on your face or even after closing fresh air vent you keep on getting fresh air; "fresh air is good for your health"), clutch and brakes not properly adjusted, head light mis alignment, petrol leaks and smell of petrol inside the cabin. The list goes on and on and on -----

you should write an email to the company. CC to MD, Head QC etc.

thats wat i did when they refused to change sum parts in engine underwarrenty.
n the next day i got call frm the manager of that showroom n he asked me to *** to his office,,,i went there n they change that 7k part for free, for which they r asking money one day before.
get their karachi office numbr frm their site n call on that number.
