Default 13" wheels in alto VXR ? ? what effect?

hi guys. in about 20 days Inshallah i m gonna get delivery of ma new Alto VXR. offcourse i have all the plans to change the crappy generals on day one, but i wanna know whether to change the rims as well or not. i DID have the plan to put 12" alloys into it, but few days back i saw an ad here at PW in which this guy has 13" alloys and the car looked nice. i just wanna ask what effect wud 13" wheels have in an alto. i mean how high the ride wud go, what effect on braking (Both good and bad) and whether the tyres wud hit the muduard or mudflaps in case of corners or bumps.

    thankz

    waiting for the replies

    regards

    thanx bro

love ya for the info. so this means as he stocks on the alto are 145/80 R12, i can go till 175/13 with 65 profile ???? i wud personally go for 165s as 175s have lesser mileage...isnt it???

as per the chart, it seems pretty ok to have 175/65 13 but i have heard from so many ppl here that it will wear down the suspension sooner and stuff like that......PLUS.....i have heard ppl say tat the ride will get high, thereby makin it more uncomfy....

    comments please

175/65 has a decent enough rubber on sides
ride should not be rough or stiff
going from 12 to 13 shouldnt be a problem for suspension aswell

If you increase the tyre width e.g 145 to 175 pls keep in mind that tyres edges do not come out of wheel wells, if they do come out they will splash up mud on front doors and rear bumper sides.

@quicksilver. true dust and mud would be splashed but with normal width tyres it will remain at footboard level, while extra wide tyres would splash entire sides.

brother wheel wells are place where wheels/rim/tyres are located. Seedhi si baat hai kay tyres body say bahir nahin honay chahiyay. I hope now you understand. cheerz.

oh great news. the ONLY reason i m goin for 13" wheels are the better looks cause i dont think there is much variety available in 12" rims. moreover, there are some great tyres available in 13" wheels but u dont have much option in 12" ones. great to know that the ride becomes better, but what r ur views abt the suspension?? do u think these tyres will wear ma suspension out sooner??
